Member rights and responsibilities
As a member of a managed care entity (MCE) in the Indiana PathWays for Aging program, you have the right to:
- Be treated with dignity and respect.
- Get free interpreter services to help you talk with us if you speak a language other than English.
- Ask for and get materials in other formats such as large print, audio, and braille upon request and in a timely way.
- Be told about treatment options regardless of cost or benefit coverage. You have the right to get answers to all your health questions.
- Help to make decisions about your health care. You have the right to refuse medical treatment.
- Be free from controls or isolation used to pressure, punish or get revenge.
- See your medical record, get a copy of it, and correct it.
